The carbon steel also exhibits heavy surface patina, black staining, and minor pitting, which is very common for these older hard-use tools. Handle Condition: The brown sawcut Delrin handle scales are in excellent shape. They show no visible cracks or chips around the pins, and the silver "OLD TIMER" shield inlay is completely intact. Bolsters: The nickel silver bolsters show expected light pocket scuffs and tarnishing but are free of deep gouges.
