Vyrn the Mosswing Deep within the oldest forests lived Vyrn, a young dragon whose scales carried the colors of moss, bark, and moonlit leaves. Unlike other dragons, he cared little for gold or jewels. Instead, he collected lost things—forgotten acorns, abandoned bird nests, and treasures dropped by wandering travelers. One autumn, a terrible blight swept through the woodland. Streams dried, trees withered, and the creatures of the forest began to flee. Vyrn searched for seven days and seven nights before finding an ancient seed hidden beneath a fallen oak. Planting the seed at the heart of the forest, he guarded it through storms and hunger. When it finally sprouted, life returned to the woods, greener than before. To this day, woodland folk say that finding a small green dragon means the forest is watching over you. For where Vyrn walks, new growth is never far behind.
