This beautiful light blue and white round trinket dish features the traditional bas-relief neoclassical cherub decoration and embossed swirls and floral designs around the edge. Jasperware is a type of stoneware developed by Josiah Wedgewood in the 1770's and is distinctive for it's matte finish and cameo-like bas-relief decorations featuring Neoclassical style of mythological or classical figures and botanicals. The trinket dish measures approximately 4 3/8"" in diameter. It does have the Wedgewood, Made in England backstamp. This is a pre-loved item and may show signs of prior use / wear; it is sold As-Is as seen on the Live and in photo(s).
