17 inch X 14 inch Prints of Antique Thai Paintings from the mid 1800s This is a set of 13 prints that replicate cloth paintings made in the 1800s by monks. Each illustrates one of the thirteen episodes the Vessantara Jataka. This set with its muted palette has excellent decorative value as it can be displayed together to create a suhtle vet nowerful aura in a room. The set of prints are in good condition. No significant rips in the print. Borders are cream colored white.The only print that has some tea colored darkening discoloration along the border is NAKHONKAN print, as this was in a sun-filled place, and has a minor fraying along the top border. Once framed, these imperfections will not be observed. Lot of 13 Old Prints of Thai paintings from the Vessantara Jataka Tales. The paintings were a part of the Jim Thompson museum collection.
