No Chips or cracks. The bottom shows 3 points where it sat on stilts in the kiln during a glaze firing. Stilts are pointed heatproof tripods or squares w/sharp metal or ceramic points to elevate the pottery to prevent melting glaze from sticking to the shelves in the kiln.**
