Product Details
This gorgeous pendant by the talented Navajo silversmith James Lee Jr. is a striking example of contemporary Southwestern artistry. The centerpiece is an elongated oval Pink Dahlia stone from the Kingman Mine in Arizona, a beautiful composite material created from turquoise, oyster shell, and copper that displays an eye-catching blend of vibrant color. The stone is bezel set and framed by both a dotted border and fine twist wire, creating wonderful depth and detail. Surrounding the setting are dramatic three-dimensional curved elements enhanced with hand stampwork and accented by raindrops, while an additional pair of stamped raindrops graces each side of the frame. The bail accommodates beads up to 12mm in size. Substantial in size and rich in craftsmanship, this pendant is a true statement piece that beautifully showcases James Lee Jr.'s distinctive silversmithing style. PLEASE NOTE: the 10mm sterling silver burnished beads by Marilyn Platero are NOT included in this purchase.
