Balestra Italian Silver “Cinderella” Coach made by Swedish silversmithing firm, Gaudy Stockholm. It is fashioned after Queen Kristina’s 1650 Coronation Coach. The four multi spoke wheels are secured to the chassis by independent micro rivets. This allows them to spin smoothly while remaining structurally stable over decades of wear. The fine vertical ribbing along the carriage body, the open window frames, and the raised driver seat are crisp and well defined, showing no signs of heavy wear or soft detail loss. The substantial width of the charm forms a perfect visual anchor for the 20 inch chain hanging beautifully at mid chest level. Hallmarks & Stamps: the cursive text inside the top oval cartouche reads “Balestra” and is famous for the intricate mechanical jewelry engineering on high-quality gold and sterling silver chains.
