A 1982-S PR69RD DCAM 1c is a highly collectible San Francisco-minted proof Lincoln cent. The designation means it is a nearly flawless proof strike (PR69) with full red luster (RD) and deep mirror-like contrast (DCAM) between the raised devices and the flat background fields. Struck on specially prepared planchets with highly polished dies, resulting in a flawless, mirror-like finish. The coin retains at least 95% of its original red mint luster, as opposed to turning brown or having a red-brown (RB) mix.
