Product Details

Famous for the tiny plantlets that grow along the serrated edges of its V-shaped, mottled green leaves, this plant is incredibly easy to grow Parentage: A cross between Kalanchoe daigremontiana and Kalanchoe delagoensis. Appearance: Tall, unbranched upright stems with arched, boat-shaped leaves featuring purple splotches underneath. Growth Cycle: Monocarpic (dies after flowering), though the dropped plantlets ensure it continuously repopulates. Flowers: Clusters of dangling, trumpet-shaped orange and pinkish-yellow blooms, typically appearing in late winter to spring. Hardiness: USDA Zones 9–11; it is highly frost-sensitive and will suffer if left in wet, poorly drained soil. Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus or succulent potting mix to prevent root rot. Light: Thrives in full sun to partial shade. Watering: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
