This mini comic was produced by IDW Publishing & Target.com in 2012 to promote the launch of the new Nickelodeon animated series and the corresponding Playmates action figures. No official print run number has ever been publicly released by IDW Publishing or Playmates Toys for this specific 2012 Target promotional book. It was a regional retail giveaway rather than a standard Diamond-distributed comic book. These were not shipped in massive commercial quantities to every store. They were sent in very small batches exclusively to select Target locations to display directly on the action figure pegs during the initial wave launch in 2012. As FREE, 8-page promotional items aimed primarily at kids browsing the toy aisle, the vast majority of copies were unbagged, handled roughly, thrown away, or damaged. Finding a copy in Near Mint condition is very difficult because so few survived. This one I’m selling has a population of only 7 in a CGC 9.8. None have graded higher, TOP GRADE is a 9.8.
