Beautiful vintage L.E. Smith Amberina Moon & Stars covered candy dish/compote. This striking piece features the iconic Moon & Stars pattern with rich amber-to-ruby coloring and a gorgeous glow under UV light. Measures approximately 10” tall and 6” wide. Overall, this piece is in great vintage condition with no major cracks. As commonly seen with this vintage style, there are chips and flea bites on the corners of the lid where it rests on the base. Due to the design, these imperfections are hidden when the lid is in place and are not noticeable during display. The body presents beautifully with excellent color, clarity, and pattern detail. A wonderful addition to any Amberina, Moon & Stars, or vintage glass collection.
