Though these Swedish skeins do not say “cotton”, the indanthren dye method was most commonly used on cotton in the past. The cotton fibers accept and hold the dyes best. The brilliance of these skeins is unbelievable. This bundle of 5 has the following colors: 1 skein 862 - somewhere between lime and grass green 1 skein 878 - goldenrod - not quite gold, not quite butter 1 skein 864 - darker than grass green, like tropical leaves 2 skeins 865 - darker than 864, deep forest green but with enough blue to keep it vibrant NOTES: 1) perle cotton is a twisted double-strand that is very glossy; 2) indanthren dyed is a process which produces very vibrant and maximum colorfastness.
