These distinct folk-art style heirloom dolls were designed and handmade by artist Charmaine Talbott. Most of these primitive oil-cloth and fabric dolls were produced during the 1980s and 1990s. The doll features a beautifully hand-painted face, molded or painted hair, a stitched jointed fabric body, and a period-style calico dress. It retains its original paper string tag reading "Talbott Doll Company".
