1947 Collectible Movie Star set from Peerless Weight & Vending Machine Corp. J.C. Penney Branded Back Variation Included in this lot is (1) Black/White set of 50 cards with J.C. Penney Company displayed on the card backs. The cards were manufactured between 1947 and 1949 and contained many of the top celebrities of the day. The cards were dispensed by Peerless Weight Vending Machines and this set was specifically for machines located in J.C. Penny stores. Each card measures approximately 1 1/8" x 2 1/8". Included in this lot are cards depicting the following stars: - John Wayne - Mickey Rooney - Eva Gabor -Lucille Ball - Judy Garland - Clarke Gable - Katharine Hepburn - Roy Rogers Each card is vintage original and encased in a penny sleeve and top loader. Please review the images to see the condition of the cards. Card conditions vary as these cards are old and many of this series were miscut when separated from sheets in the factory.
