This classic American Case Cheetah Cub is about 3 1/2 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 1.9 ounces. The handle is Peach Seed jigged Dark Red Bone with a Nickel Silver Case Traditions Inlay shield. The bolsters are Highly polished Nickel Silver. This knife utilizes a 2 3/4" Locking Clip blade with finger guard. Stamped with pattern number 611 1/2L CS, the blade material is 1095 Carbon Steel with a mirror-polished finish. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.
