Antique Victorian tintype photograph featuring a full-length portrait of a woman posed in an elaborate costume with decorative headdress, shawl, and patterned skirt. Studio backdrop with architectural design. Black lacquered iron plate with clipped corners, approximately 2" x 3.25". Unidentified sitter. An unusual late 19th-century image with strong costume and folk attire appeal. Displays well despite age-related wear, surface scratches, and minor emulsion loss.
