This charming 12-inch vintage handmade fabric topsy-turvy doll is a wonderful piece of traditional folk art dating back to around 1980. The classic double-ended design features two beautifully distinct cloth dolls connected at a central waist, completely hidden beneath a heavy, deep burgundy velvet reversible skirt. One side showcases a blonde yarn-haired character with hand-embroidered blue eyes, while a quick flip of the dress reveals a black fabric doll wearing a blue patterned bandana dress and a matching multi-colored head wrap. She comes complete with a vintage yellow plastic pin and a gold-tone angel pin attached to her bodice. The entirely hand-stitched doll is in very good, clean condition, completely free of stains, rips, or odors.
