Selling a matched pair of vintage hand-painted black velvet paintings, both in original rustic carved wood frames. These are the real deal from the 1960s/70s. Painting 1: Cowboy & Horse (signed "Vargus") Dramatic desert storm scene with a silhouetted cowboy on horseback, yucca palms, cacti, and a swirling gold and purple sky Painting 2: Desert Sunset (signed "Gallo") Rich desert sunset with a saguaro cactus, Joshua tree silhouettes, and a blazing white/gold horizon. Deep purples and burnt oranges. Stunning color depth. Signed lower left. Both measure 38" L × 17.5" H (framed). Hanging wire on both. Colors are vivid, no damage, frames show normal age wear. These look incredible together, perfect above a couch, fireplace, or in a den, cabin, or southwestern-style space. Selling as a pair only.
