The National Alliance of Burmese Breeders (NABB) is the primary national organization facilitating Burmese cat rescue. They take in unwanted, abandoned, or displaced Burmese and Bombay cats (which share a strong genetic lineage), and actively find them new, loving homes across the United States. Since its inception, the organization has successfully re-homed more than 500 Burmese, and the need continues to grow every year. Many of these cats are rescued from families who can no longer care for their beloved pets due to declining health, a death in the family, or other major life changes.
