Beautiful, hand-painted antique oil on canvas replica of Jules-Alexis Muenier’s famous 1911 masterpiece, "La Leçon de clavecin" (The Harpsichord Lesson). Measures 21" x 17" This is a genuine early 20th-century period copy, likely painted between 1911 and the 1930s. It features excellent color depth and a wonderful aged patina that only comes with time. This painting is being sold as-is in its beautiful antique condition. The canvas has a lovely, authentic aged patina with natural darkening. The wooden stretcher bars are sturdy and intact, and the iron tacks show heavy oxidization (rust) consistent with a 70–100+ year age. There are no major punctures or large tears to the main image area
