He also maintained a branch studio on New Road in Brixham, a nearby fishing port town.Dating the Portrait: Kitto proudly identifies as a "Medallist," a title he often used on his cabinet cards and cartes-de-visite (CDVs) after winning formal commendations. He received an award at the Torquay & District Industrial Exhibition in 1888.
