If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that love isn’t measured by how easy life is—it’s measured by choosing each other through every hard season. These 15 years have been filled with so much joy, but they’ve also been incredibly challenging. We spent our first five years of marriage living in my husband’s parents’ basement unable to find a place to live in Montana. We’ve navigated difficult family relationships, friendships that brought more hurt than peace, surgeries that didn’t go as planned, and finally finding a home only to be forced to move—twice—during COVID. The first just one week after my surgeries. Somehow, through all of it, we’ve kept showing up for each other. Fifteen years is worth celebrating—not because it’s been perfect, but because we’ve made it through the imperfect together. Because life has thrown us so many unexpected challenges, we haven’t been able to take a real anniversary trip or vacation in almost 10 years. So I’m hoping to change that! 💛
