this was bought locally. i disassembled the gameboy for cleaning. it powers on but it displays vertical lines the higher you turn the contrast wheel. i already took the plastic screen off but taped it back on so dust does not build up on the inside. i did not remove the old adhesive for the plastic screen, btw. one of the screws on the back will not stay in. the light lens does have scuffs. it powers on but i used drained batteries so it looks dim. the 4 player adapter (dmg-07) is untested. the game genie works. the book is included. the rechargeable battery pack seems to not work. the two prongs are bent including the other end that connects to the gameboy. at this point it's a collector's item. two games are included which are casper (not working) and tetris.
