There are absolutely no large chips, cracks, flea bites, or repairs to the rims, handles, or lid. The interior basin and the underside of the lid are exceptionally clean, glossy, and free of food discoloration. A Charming Note on Patina: The exterior surfaces feature extensive, natural under-glaze crazing. Rather than a flaw, this tight web of fine lines is a charming, authentic characteristic of its 110+ years of age, giving the piece a highly desirable, romantic old-world patina that cannot be replicated!
