Beautiful vintage Southwestern Native American Zuni Pueblo handmade roadrunner bird pin/pendant combo. This piece features an intricate geometric mosaic channel inlay face utilizing genuine mother of pearl, turquoise, coral or spiny oyster shell, and dark tortoiseshell or jet segments.The reverse side features a dual-purpose design: a secure rollover safety pin clasp and a soldered silver bail loop, allowing it to be worn seamlessly as either a brooch or a necklace pendant. The piece is unsigned and unmarked, which is highly typical for mid-century benchwork pieces of this style.
