This item is a vintage WWII-era "Sweetheart" expansion bracelet manufactured by the Co-Star brand. This piece is stamped 1/20 12k tops. These stretch-bellows style bracelets became widely popular during the 1930s and 1940s (World War II). Soldiers departing for the front lines frequently gifted them to wives, mothers, and girlfriends as sentimental keepsakes.
