A beautiful mid-century Chinese export jewelry set featuring hand-painted blue and white porcelain beads, including a matching necklace and two coordinating pairs of dangle earrings. The set is presented in its original Chinese export presentation box, making it an increasingly collectible survivor from the post-war export era. The necklace is finished with a sterling silver clasp, while the porcelain beads display classic cobalt blue floral and traditional motif decoration inspired by centuries of Chinese blue-and-white ceramics. Also included is an additional pair of cream-colored porcelain earrings decorated with delicate blue bamboo motifs. The original export box is labeled “Made in the People’s Republic of China,” further supporting the set’s mid-century export origin.
