A beautifully executed original mixed media painting depicting a golden songbird perched among blooming white roses on a richly textured green ground. The composition appears to have been created over layered handmade paper, producing remarkable depth and texture throughout the artwork. The piece is signed in calligraphy with a red artist’s seal and is presented in an elegant vintage gold frame with a linen mat. While I have not been able to definitively identify the artist, the quality of the workmanship, layered construction, and presentation made this a piece I chose to display in my own collection.
