This is a vintage pot metal filigree style functioning purse locket necklace. Other listings of pieces like this estimate the time period to be from the 1960s or 70s and is inspired by the Art Deco era. This piece has been well loved over the years and the chain appears to have been redesigned in to this style by the previous owner before me. The purse itself is imperfectly made and slightly asymmetrical. It does not affect the function. The chain is made of silver tone rolo links and beaded embellishments. The whole necklace measures 33" long
