This striking vintage ATI Mexico modernist ring features a large, marquise-cut faux red jasper glass cabochon set in a split-shank bypass band. Stamped "ATI MEXICO," the ring is crafted from Alpaca silver (a nickel-copper alloy) rather than sterling, which is evidenced by noticeable metal wear and brassy undertones bleeding through on the underside of the shank. The vibrant red glass stone is securely set, though a close inspection reveals minor surface scratches and tiny flea-bite chips along its edge consistent with vintage age. Sitting at a US size 8, this mid-century piece shows authentic wear and patina that adds to its retro, Southwestern character. has some dings on the shank.
