Da Vinci 118 by Sunglass Originals — handmade in Hong Kong, early 1980s. Authentic vintage, not a reproduction. The 118 is one of Sunglass Originals' most recognizable designs — oversized flat-top silhouette in bold avant-garde street style. Gloss black cellulose acetate with a red and orange lower accent strip, marbled horn inlay at the upper corners, and gradient gray lenses dark at the top fading lighter at the bottom. The "Hand Made" stamp means exactly that — these frames were individually cut from flat sheets of high-grade acetate, hand-shrunk, and polished by hand to a deep gloss finish you cannot replicate at scale. Hong Kong in this era was home to elite boutique optical factories producing handcrafted frames for respected American and European fashion brands. All markings crisp and intact. Very good vintage condition — excellent gloss, clean lenses, no chips or warping. No case.
