Victorian to Edwardian era double portrait brooch featuring two original sepia gentleman photographs beneath glass in matching round brass-tone frames. One side features a lovely twisted rope border detail, and the piece retains its old style C-clasp and long pin stem. A wonderful sentimental piece of turn-of-the-century history — these portrait jewels were worn to keep loved ones close and are increasingly difficult to find with the original photographs still intact. Beautiful aged patina and incredible character throughout. Circa 1895-1915.
