Welcome to JR's Coins & Currency and More!
Believe it or not, this whole journey started because my son asked me a simple question one day:
"Are $2 bills real?"
Now, I knew they were real, but my son is autistic, and if you've ever raised an autistic child, you know that sometimes an answer isn't enough—you need proof. So I got him a $2 bill to show him they actually existed.
That one $2 bill started something I never expected.
A few bills turned into more bills. Bills turned into coins. Coins turned into silver. Silver turned into bullion. And somewhere along the way, I accidentally became a collector.
Fast forward to today, and my collection has grown into a passion for coins, currency, precious metals, and the incredible history behind them. These days, I hoard silver like Scrooge McDuck and probably spend way too much time thinking about the next coin I want to add to the stack.
More importantly, I'm a proud Autism Dad. This hobby has given me a chance to connect with my son, learn something new every day, meet amazing people in the collecting community, and share a passion that started with one simple question.
