This piece is a classic example of 1990s Country Style / Country Folk Art needlework/ cross-stitch. Made by my Aunt Gkoria for my mother. The textile features a horizontal "triptych" format, dividing the needlework into three separate, balanced panes separated by a stitched faux-frame border. It is mounted in a simple, honey-oak wood frame with a dark blue or hunter green mat—a quintessential color and framing combination for the 90s country aesthetic. Left Pane: A classic woven harvest basket overflowing with stylized fruit (apples/peaches) and berries. ​Center Pane: A symmetrical floral wreath featuring pink roses, green foliage, and tiny blue birds perched at the top. ​Right Pane A stylized "Tree of Life" or apple tree with plump pink/red blossoms and two blue birds feeding at the base. 18 inches long. 10 inches wide. classic honey oak or medium golden oak wood frame.
