Beautiful late Victorian gold filled ribbon slide or watch fob holder dating to approximately 1880-1900. Features elegant openwork scroll and rope detailing with an integrated suspension ring designed to accommodate a watch fob, locket, charm, or other decorative accessory. The reverse retains its original ribbon-retaining bar, allowing the piece to be worn on a ribbon, scarf, necktie, or clothing trim. A wonderful example of the creative and often-overlooked accessories that adorned Victorian dress. Measures approximately 1.25 inches across.
