Romantic vintage "I (heart) U" message ring crafted in yellow gold. The center features a heart-cut purple gemstone (presumed natural or synthetic amethyst). The stone has been tested on a electronic diamond tester and registers positively as a crystalline gemstone (not glass). A beautiful, dainty piece perfect as a promise ring, pinky ring, or a unique addition to an estate jewelry collection. I couldn’t find any maker or purity marks, but a small scratch test showed it is near 10k gold. Bottom test is with 14k acid solution. Inventory E1
