Because of Covid I was denied my right to a speedy trial. My lawyers assured me the State had no case, but I was left with a choice, wait in jail for 2-3 years for trial or plead and get out in a few months. As my family was struggling and my mother dying of cancer, I plead to get out. My mother died 12-20-20 without seeing me again.
