A recycled Uranium glass cabochon is set in an inverted heart sterling silver bezel with a twisted rope detail around the outside. The uranium glass cabochon is made by another artist in NY who collects shards of uranium glass and melts them into new cabochons. Such a meaningful way to preserve broken uranium glass, transforming its fragments into new jewelry and carrying its history forward into a new form in this handmade ring. All sterling used in my rings are .925 sterling silver. The cabochon may vary slightly in size & shape from the images shown but are in an oval shape and are around 0.25 inches by 0.6 inches.
