Product Details

Absolutely gorgeous vintage unsigned statement necklace featuring a beautifully dramatic cascading tassel design with faceted iridescent crystal beads, frosted floral glass elements, ornate gold tone filigree caps, and an elegant box clasp with frosted cabochon accents. This piece appears to be exceptionally well made and is unlike modern costume jewelry. Based on construction, materials, and overall design, I believe this dates somewhere in the 1950s–1960s, though I have found no maker’s mark or signature. Possible origins or influences may include: • Czech glass jewelry • Austrian crystal components • West German mid-century costume jewelry • Boutique artisan or unsigned designer piece Notably, there is no plastic present anywhere on the necklace — all components appear to be glass, crystal, and metal findings. The craftsmanship, detailed tassel construction, and unusual clasp design suggest a higher quality vintage piece.
