Antique Victorian Prattware pot depicting the celebrated Pegwell Bay scene Mending the Nets, attributed to F. & R. Pratt & Co. Dating to approximately 1850-1870, this charming English pottery piece features a beautifully detailed coastal village scene with fishermen, cottages, boats, and shoreline activity rendered in the vibrant colors for which Prattware is known. This collectible pot retains wonderful antique character and displays the rich transfer-printed and hand-colored decoration that has made Victorian Prattware highly sought after by collectors of English pottery, Victorian ceramics, maritime antiques, and decorative arts. Measures approximately 3” tall. Displays age-related crazing, wear, and discoloration consistent with its age and history. Please review photographs carefully for condition details.
