Product Details

Exceptional antique Chatham & Woolley blue relief ware creamer dating to approximately 1796-1810. This early English Staffordshire pottery example features finely detailed white sprigged relief decoration against a rich blue ground, including charming putti and neoclassical figures. The elegant form, molded spout, and applied relief work exemplify the craftsmanship of the Georgian period. Measuring approximately 2.75” tall, this miniature creamer is a wonderful example of early 19th-century English pottery and highly desirable among collectors of Staffordshire, Georgian ceramics, blue relief ware, and Chatham & Woolley pieces. The unmarked base with decorator’s mark is consistent with known examples from the period. Displays age-related wear, crazing, and manufacturing characteristics consistent with an antique piece over 200 years old. Please review photographs carefully for condition details. Vintage and antique items are pre-owned and may show age-related wear consistent with use
