Vintage Wooden Folk Art Doll, hand crafted in the Ukraine in the 60s, and featuring the Hand Painted likeness of a Mustached Man dressed in traditional Ukrainian garb - topped off with a traditional Ukrainian handmade felt and cotton cap. Standing at an impressive 11-3/4" in height and 3-1/2 from side to side, this painted Doll features still bright and vibrant shades of reds, greens, yellows, blues, blacks and whites - and he even has some hints of color with a pinkish hue! This primitive piece is in very good, used condition, with no cracks or repairs, but it does have some areas (particularly on the right hand side) where there are some nicks to the wood and some slight discolorations - please take a look at all of the listing photos for an accurate view of the condition of this 60+ year piece.
