After looking at this through a loupe, I still can't tell if it's a real opal, so I'm selling it as a faux opal. If it's real, we'll rejoice with you! It's a vintage sterling silver ring, with the 925 mark almost worn off inside the band. The oval faux stone does have some flash of colors when looked at through the loupe. There are also some scratches on the front of the stone (see photos). Oval portion is 0.25" tall. Weighs 1.8 grams, size 4 1/2 on the mandrel. Would make a great pinky ring. We have not attempted to clean the ring, so it retains the original patina. Please see photos as they are part of the description. Check our feedback! We have been selling online for over 25 years.
