This striking vintage jet black glass cameo brooch features a classical woman’s profile in dramatic relief, set in an aged oval gold-tone bezel with beaded edging. Measuring approximately 2 inches tall by 1.5 inches wide, the piece evokes Edwardian mourning jewelry with its dark, glossy finish and detailing. The glass tests as such on a Presidium tester, confirming it is likely vintage molded black glass (Jet-style) rather than true obsidian. The cameo has deeply textured hair, draped clothing, and a strong profile that stands out beautifully against the high-shine surface. The reverse features a traditional pin back and clasp.
