Product Details

Facsimile/reprint edition of For Whom the Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway, originally published by Charles Scribner’s Sons in 1940. This copy is a Collectors Reprints facsimile of the first edition, published by arrangement with Charles Scribner’s Sons, with a matching facsimile dust jacket. A great display copy for a Hemingway collection, classic literature shelf, or old-library styled book display. The facsimile jacket has the bold black, red, and blue Scribner’s-style design, giving it the look of an earlier collectible edition without the price of an original first edition. Condition: Good used/vintage condition with expected wear from age and handling. Please note: this is a facsimile/reprint edition. The book and dust jacket are not original 1940 first edition pieces. Please see photos for details.
