Diocletian Bronze Antoninianus (Roman Emporer 284-305 AD), 24mm, 2.57g, Siscia Mint, struck circa 288-289 AD. REF: RIC V 282 var. (obverse inscription); IMP CC VAL DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG, radiate, cuirassed bust right; OBV: VICOTIA AVGG, Diocletian and Maximian each holding scepters, shaking hands, behind them Victory standing, placing her arms around their shoulders; mintmark XXI*A* in exergue. This is ostensibly a very rare and possibly unbulished type.
