This item is vintage and used, please see photos to understand condition. There are no markers to indicate this is actual Gladys Wax or a reproduction. It may be ceramic. It has a raised area with a white dot, i do not believe it is a chip. I see no chips or cracks It is a great piece that needs a new home. It is 7 1/4" tall 3 1/2" wide
