This base is vintage and used, please see photos to understand condition amd color. I see no chips or cracks. A ruler has been places at key points so you can see measurements. The bottom diameter is 9 1/4" the tree going on top should be less than 6 3/4" to sit properly on top it is 3 3/4" to tallest points. The light does work, there are 2 switches, if light does not turn on, just work on switches until it does, it does work, no idea why someone put a second switch.
