Product Details

Genuine 1894 Barber quarter struck at the Philadelphia Mint, identified by the absence of a mint mark. Designed by Charles E. Barber, the obverse features Liberty wearing a laurel wreath and cap, while the reverse displays a heraldic eagle with shield, arrows, and olive branch. This historic U.S. quarter contains 90% silver and is offered in circulated condition. The coin shows substantial wear, scratches, toning, and possible past cleaning, but the date, major design elements, and reverse lettering remain visible. Sold raw and ungraded; see photos carefully for exact condition. The 1894 Philadelphia issue had a reported mintage of 3,432,000 coins.
