Beautiful antique porcelain portrait vase, circa 1890–1910, featuring a lovely painted portrait of a woman surrounded by ornate gilt decoration. The cobalt blue and white porcelain is accented with gold detailing and floral motifs, giving this petite bottle-shaped vase a wonderfully romantic turn-of-the-century look. Approximately 5” tall. This piece has wonderful age and character, with visible wear and loss to the gilt decoration consistent with its age. There is also a small chip/nick at the rim, so please look closely at all photos.
